Paxos - Being There

Invited as resident artist by Chris Boïcos Fine Arts to the lovely island of Paxos in the Ionian sea, I lead a photography workshop where the participants used phones and cameras to take digital photographs. From prints of these they composed large format collaged and painted triptychs. The snapshots had given birth to enduring works of art - tangible reminders of having been in a real place at a certain time - Paxos in summer 2016.

In a final shoot, participants were photographed double exposed against their finished works.
